Had a lot of fun with this.  My first cow paintings and very loose for me.  I will try doing this painting again bigger and in this same style, maybe more so. This is day #10 of the 30 paintings, 30 days.

Day 9 and back to landscapes.  This is another section of a familiar walk.  Again, after the fog lifts the colors stand out.  Love this place.

Day 8 30 in 30.  My very tiny Fiesta Ware pitcher and a couple of home grown tomatoes....I could not make this work.  I'll try again later.

Day 7 of 30 in 30.  This is a favorite walk of mine and when it has been foggy, and clears, the colors really pop!

Day 6 of 30 in 30.  I need to work on simplifying my cast shadows, among other things.  I've wanted to do this painting for some time and will give it another go.  Working from photographs you need to be creative and make allowances for things you can't see...and do see that aren't "real".

Day five of 30 in 30....boy have I fallen behind in posting.  Hard to keep up.  These are some vintage salt and peppers I have.  I wasn't terribly happy with this one.  It's a "challenge" to remind myself that this is an exercise!  Part of it for me is breaking through.....!!  Also, my first attempt at painting an egg!

Day four of the 30 in 30.  Feeling like a bird today.  Was blessed to see a horned owl this morning being screamed at by a hawk, or I never would have seen, or been able to photograph it.  It was incredibly camouflaged.  But those eyes......anyway, was going to paint a donkey but went for the bird instead.

It wasn't the best painting day but I went on with it and had a little fun.
This is day 3 of 30 in 30.  I don't imagine all of the paintings will satisfy.  Its an excellent challenge for me and encourages me to try new things....and let go of having it be just right but keep going and learning.  Have fun with it.  I hope I can let go more!!

Day 2 of 30 in 30.  Had to move fast because I have to do a few things before the show at Sweetie's Art Bar tonight.  I chose this because I thought it would be easy.  Hah!  Probably a good thing my time was limited or I would be at it for several hours nit picking.  Or maybe wiped and started over.  This is from a photo I took at China Camp.  Great place to paint.

This is the first day of the 30 in 30 challenge with Leslie Saeta.  I have never made it past 15 but maybe three times a charm?
