  I did this piece for my critique group.  The homework was to do an abstract from something that we are familiar with painting.  I've done a lot of crows and wanted to do this painting from a photograph I took some time ago...so here is my effort.  It was a great exercise and I'm happy with the results. Hope you enjoy it too.

Named for the address of the new gallery, this exhibition showcases the wide range of fine art being created by Marin Society Artist members.  The exhibition runs from February 4 ~ March 5.  Opening Reception February 14th

A Kiss is Just a Kiss......or maybe something more.  My nod to Valentine's Day and lovers everywhere....of every kind.  I was inspired to do this painting by two Ravens doing just this, then grooming each other, then kissing.  It was a wonderful thing to watch.
